The Automated Discharge Note System (ADNS) implemented on 7 South at BCH Tower revolutionizes the discharge process by enabling electronic communication of patient discharge notes, significantly reducing delays in notifying GPs.   5. Problems: General • Incomplete sending (incompatible systems) • Only S&E • Only 1 computer on ward • Different systems in different hospitals

  6. Problems: Doctors’ • Unable to access X-ray and lab results at same time • Restrictions on access • Slow! • Problems with key codes
