System Overview • The Athena / Shadowhawk G2 K800 platform is based on the AMD Athlon 64 processor (socket 754) • The motherboard is the MSI MS-6702 based on the VIA K8T800 chipset • The K800 comes with integrated gigabit LAN (10/100/1000Mbps) powered by the Realtek 8110S chip • It also comes with six channel audio powered by the Avance ALC655 audio controller • Dual serial ATA-150 channels • Integrated Firewire/IEEE1394 support

Target Market • The target market of the Athena / Shadowhawk G2 K800 is the high-end desktop segment for business, education, and home users • The K800 series is the ideal platform if the user intends to use it for digital content creation (Adobe Photoshop for graphics, Adobe Premier for video editing, etc.) • With AGP 8X support and DDR400 support, the K800 is ideal as a high end gaming platform • Serial ATA-150 gives users optimal HDD performance without having to use expensive SCSI HDDs • The K800 is able to run today’s 32 bit apps at optimal speed, and it’s 64 bit ready for future 64 bit apps and operating systems due out next year
