WATER SYSTEM EVALUATION

The City of Gooding is addressing significant issues with its aging water system. During the Town Hall meeting on October 2, 2013, key objectives for evaluating and improving the water system were discussed. The old system is deteriorating and non-compliant, leading to a bond election on November 5, 2013, proposing $5,000,000 for a new, reliable water system. This includes a Water Facility Planning Study (WFPS) to develop alternatives for improvement, ensuring adequate supply to meet growing demands and enhancing water quality for residents.
