PENGENALAN Laboratori Pemodelan Spatial dan Berangka (SNML) merupakan peneraju yang amat berdedikasi dalam memperoleh dan meningkatkan pembangunan teknologi dalam kaedah penderiaan jauh, pemodelan geospatial serta pemodelan berangka dan teknik visualisasi sebagai penyelesaian kepada permasalahan kejuruteraan, teknologi, pertanian dan pelbagai lagi serta aplikasinya di dunia nyata. Kami sentiasa seiring dengan keadaan semasa dalam pelbagai penyelidikan yang menjurus kepada ketiga-tiga bidang tersebut. a world leader in new tropical agriculture

KEPERLUAN DATA SPATIAL DAN PEMETAAN • Secaraamnya, data adalahdiperlukanbagiprojekpelajar yang sedangberjalan, yang menggunakankawasankajian (“study area”) di Malaysia. • Data jugadiperlukanbagi 2 projekbaruiaitu: • ProjectTitle: Uncertainty Assessment  of Topographic Factor in Soil Loss Prediction Using DEMs for Highland Agriculture Fertility Conservation • Aeria Photo • Digital Spatial Data needed from JUPEM and Department of Agricultutre. • Digital Elevation Model • The estimation of average annual soil loss at the area (same as above) • Rainfall data (same as above) • Soil erodibility factor or soil type data (same as above)  • Land Cover data (same as above a world leader in new tropical agriculture

KEPERLUAN DATA SPATIAL DAN PEMETAAN Benefit of the research undertaken for national importance This technology could be used for agricultural conservation practice especially in the high erosion risk areas. Provide a valuable resource for decision makers to guard against land acquisition in highland agricultural areas or to issue conditional permits with conservation measures to future agricultural activities. (ii) Project Title: Developing a Flood Model Based on Spatial Neuro-Fuzzy for Johor Malaysia Study area and Requirements:  Linggui Dam Was Constructed On Linggui River. DEM, slope, soil, land cover land use, lithology, geology. Meteorological Data a world leader in new tropical agriculture

  19. PENUTUP Secara keseluruhan, Laboratori Pemodelan Spatial dan Berangka di Institut Teknologi Maju (ITMA) telah menunjukkan prestasi yang cemerlang sebagai satu pusat penyelidikan spatial. Untuk meningkatkan prestasi, demi kepentingan negara, SNML di ITMA memerlukan lebih banyak data spatial bagi menghasilkan penyelidikan yang berkualiti dan berdaya saing. Selain itu hasil penerbitan dan produk yang dikomersialkan dapat dipertingkatkan dengan adanya data spatial. Perkembangan ini adalah sejajar dengan hasrat negara untuk membangunkan produk dan aplikasi tempatan yang mempunyai daya saing global. a world leader in new tropical agriculture
