  3. From our surveys, we found that Many People are Biased. “Classic BBQ is Just Better!”

  4. We conducted a two-part experiment. Part 1. We barbecued some sausages using the ELECTRICbarbecue Pit. We asked ten people to taste two samples, and tell which came from the classic barbecue pit, and which came from the electric barbecue pit.

  6. We conducted a two-part experiment. Part 2. We barbecued some sausages. This time, we really barbecued them with both the classic Barbecue pit and the electric barbecue pit.We asked some people to tell which of them came from the classic barbecue pit, and which came from the electric barbecue pit.

  9. Classic Barbecue We barbecued for 3 hours. We used a bag of CHARCOAL . $22.90 We used a box of FIRE STARTER. $8.00 Total: $30.90 Per Hour: $ 10.30 Electric Barbecue According to non-residential electricity fees, using 12,000w of electricity, we use 12 degrees of electricity. $11.68/h Per Hour: $11.70 $$$$$$ $$$$$$ Cost The cost isn’t that expensive.

  10. Air Pollution • We used a bottle to collect the fumes from the electric and classic barbecue pits. • Then we added limewater. • We shook them thoroughly. Classic Electric The limewater in the ‘electric barbecue fumes’ bottle is slightly clearer.

  11. Solid Pollution • We weighed the rubbish we produced after the electric barbecue and the classic barbecue. • We got the following results: Electric BBQ produces much less rubbish.

  12. Speed Using Classic Barbecue to barbecue a sausage: 32.24s Using Electric Barbecue to barbecue a sausage:154.82s Classic Barbecue is faster. However, food barbecued on it is easier to get burnt.

  14. Conclusion There is actually no substantial difference between Electric barbecue and Classic barbecue.

  15. Follow-up • We will conduct a survey on whether the people would choose electric barbecue or continue using classic barbecue, after knowing that they are actually the same. • We will research on the fee collection.
