3. Operations We are locally owned and operated in Durham, North Carolina. LPS is a full service Security Systems integrator. We offer Video Surveillance, Access Controls, Visitor Management Systems, Fire and Security Systems to both residential and commercial customers. Our company was founded in 1999 on a dream of having a company with Security Systems excellence and innovation. The founder and President Timothy Cooke is a native of Durham with 16 years of experience in the security industry and a company combined experience of 32 years. LPS has completed and installed Security Systems with companies such as Southpoint Mall, Durham Hilton, US Postal Service, Durham & Wake Public Schools, National Heritage Academies, Durham County Government, North Carolina Department of Corrections, City of Charlotte, US Air Force (Pope AFB), US Department of Army (Ft. Bragg) and a host of residential clients. Our marquee was performed with the City of Charlotte providing the complete security package for the Charlotte Bobcats arena.
