At present, this industry is turning green. • Spain has rigorous regulations on the building sector concerning sustainable issues (CódigoTécnico de la Edificación, CTE). • It has an increasing demand of green certifications such as LEED and BREEAM, and it has implemented its own certification standard under the Green Building Council.
