ISSUES FACING A DOT CIO • How do you work with other DOT leaders to achieve support for IT? • Describe your governance process.  • What is your strategic IT vision? • How do you set IT priorities? • What keeps you up at night? • The shift in technologies in some cases has resulted in tension between customers and software providers. How are you dealing with this issue?

ISSUES FACING A DOT CIO • What changes are needed in executive management of IT to work with challenges posed by adopting recent technologies such as social media, cloud, personal devices, etc.? • What challenges/opportunities exits in working with the State CIO office?  • Are there any research needs or opportunities that he would suggest for the TRB that would benefit other DOT's considering a similar course of action?
