  1. Installation and updating of E-Catalogue E-Catalogue installation E-Catalogue installation does not take much time (about 10 minutes with slower computers and it is necessary to have 1,5GB of place on target disk). It is necessary to have administrator‘s rights for successful installation (installation needs to write into system files). Thereby we recommend the installation would be performed by IT system administrator. All the installation process is saved ina log file (C:\Program Files\Prametecatalog\install.log). In case of failed installation, you can send this file for analyse: hotline@solidvision.cz, eva.winklerova@pramet.com, or miroslav.veselovsky@pramet.com

  2. Before startingE-Catalogue installation, it’s necessary to uninstall the old version (if it was installed). In version 04/2011 thereisa shotcut in Start menu All programs\Prametecatalog\

  3. Installation is started by file „Pramet_ecatalog .exe“ . Wait while installer is prepared. Then select a language of installation. This window can be displayed after a longer time. Your PC is not frozen. Please, wait.

  4. General information about companies Pramet and SolidVision (which has been working on development) can be seen when clicking on appropriate button. To continue press the button „Next“.

  5. Choose users that will access Pramet E-Catalogue. To continue press the button „Next“.

  6. Choose folder for the program Default option (32b OS): C:\Program Files\Prametecatalog Default option (64b OS): C:\Program Files (x86)\Prametecatalog To continue press the button „Install“.

  7. Following steps include admin rights verification, .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 installation, E-Catalog database restoring, unpacking of images and documentation files.

  8. Press the button „Finish“.

  9. E-Catalogue updating E- catalogue updating (input of new data and items) consists of new E-Catalogue installation. Before installation you have to uninstall theold version. Recommendation: update should be performed by IT system administrator. In version 04/2011 thereisa shotcut in Start menu All programs\Prametecatalog\
