  1. All you Want to Know about Well Service Pumps Well service pumps are used for the maintenance and stimulation of the wells once the main drilling operation is successfully undertaken. The triplex and quintuplex are the two varieties of the well service pumps mostly used today. For specific applications, some other kinds of pumps may also be used. The pumps improve the flow rates and keep them steady even when the discharge pressure varies. Triplex Well Service Pumps Triplex pumps are quite effective for processes including acidization and cementization. Well acidization is the process during which acid is pumped inside the well, so that dolomite, limestone and calcite cement, among other unwanted materials are dissolved.
