  11. Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) • Aim – to make sustainability reporting a standard practice • Provides a comparable reporting framework for environmental, social and governance information • 2300+ organizations reported in 2012 using the GRI Guidelines

  12. GRI – Sector Specific • Sector specific guidelines for sustainability reporting • Examples of these sectors are: electric utilities, financial services, food processing, mining and minerals, and the event sector • GRI Event Organizers Supplement launched in January 2012
