19. OutREACH Summer Concert (Brent Cole and the Parish’s Praise Band) on June 26. We wanted to reach out and introduce our parish to the local community and also had hoped the music would appeal to the youth in the community. We were blessed with great weather and had somewhere between 60 and 70 people attend the event. 27 were either members or their guests with the balance being new faces. There was a lot of volunteer hours and some finances needed to pull this event off so going forward the pros and cons need to evaluated before we stage this event again this summer.

20. OutREACH Back lot project – the vision “create a labyrinth in the center with raised beds for vegetable growth with an obstacle/exercise course surrounding the project.” Liz Bishop • Labyrinth Committee Chair

21. WORSHIP The 11:30 service was started back in the fall of 2009 but the future of the service was undetermined. It has; however, secured a permanent place in our Sunday services with a weekly attendance between 12 and 15 parishoners. Thanks to Lisa Mischke and Fr. Palmer for driving this program.

22. Christian Education The revenue earned this year from the Scandi Festival has been earmarked to fund the youth program. Rena Robbins – Children’s Ed Fr Palmer – Adult Ed

23. OUTREACH Home Starter Kits (St Matts, St Thomas, Resurrection) Sharon VanSickle and Pauline MacGregor are the volunteers from St. Matt’s who procure, pack, and deliver kits. This ministry has been operating the last three years. This year they supplied 136 kits, last year was 144, and 61 in 2008. The annual report will be made available.

24. OUTREACH Awbrey Park Elementary School (Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas gifts) We gave 32 Thanksgiving Dinners (Turkeys plus the fixins) to the school at Thanksgiving and we donated 16 Christmas gifts for needy children. Pantry/Food Bank – ongoing program Shoe Box Ministry – some 73 Shoe boxes were donated this year.
