SOLPS simulation – pre ELM Inputs (experiment): PSOL = 14 MW ne(sepm) =2x1019 m-3 ΔWELM=0.7 MJ Launched runs: *B2/Eirene *Standalone *flat radial profile *TB *poloidally symetric radial profile *no TB in divertor legs Mesh: 36x96 cells Inputs (free): from neoclassical + JETTO estimations D = 0.02 m2.s-1 χi = 0.1 m2.s-1 χe~χi /40 = 0.025 m-3.s-1 ΔETB ~ 4cm Experiment => Ti~Te => Equipartition of energy But from neoclasical theory => χe < χi! • Decrease power flux of electrons or • Increase power flux of ions in inner core in order to keep Ti~Te  Not converged yet  Future plans: * Continue in SOLPS runs for preELM * Type I ELM simulation + drifts
