  2. Facts • A kangaroo can hop up to 40 mph. A male kangaroo is called a boomer, a female kangaroo is called a flyer, a baby kangaroo is called a joey. Kangaroos can swim by doing the dog paddle. Kangaroos are often called roos. Kangaroos live in groups called mobs there can be up to 100 kangaroos in a mob.

  3. What They Eat • Kangaroos eat grass, shrubs and leaves. Kangaroos can go months without drinking water.

  4. Where You Can Find Them • You’ll mostly find Kangaroos in Australia

  5. Facts • Habitat : Kangaroos live all over Australia. They live in grassy areas. They also live in New Guinea and Tasmania. • Enemies : Kangaroos have three main enemies they are Dingos- They kill kangaroos for food. Farmers- Shoot kangaroos, because they eat grass that the farmers' cows need Drought- Kangaroos can go months without drinking water, but they can not go years without drinking.
