Enhancing Medical Education: Engaging Students in Patient Safety Initiatives

This project focuses on innovative strategies to engage and inspire medical students in patient safety education. We will explore successful approaches from Barts and London that can serve as models for teaching. Additionally, we propose a national collaboration for enhancing teaching and learning in this vital area. The relevance of a Risk and Patient Safety module for aspiring medical professionals will be discussed, alongside WHO's Patient Safety Curriculum. Finally, we will evaluate measures of success for education initiatives like the National Alliance for Patient Safety Education (NAPSE).
