Promoting Political Science Among Youth: CPSSU's Mission and Activities

The CPSSU aims to promote political science as a vibrant discipline among youth, fostering an academic environment for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Through theoretical debates on pressing political issues, we encourage student collaboration and active engagement in political science. Our activities include discussions, lectures, and partnerships with universities like Charles University and Matej Bel University, as well as international cooperation. We provide platforms for upcoming events, including focused discussions on the European Parliament and Senate elections.

Aims: • To promote and support the political science as a relatively young discipline among the young people • To create an environment for presenting and exchanging ideas, opinions and experiences on the academic level • To offer a space for theoretical debates and discussion about the actual political topics, that are transforming, rebuilding and influencing our society • To support cooperation of students and student organizations and to give a chance for realization of people who want be active in field of political science

  2. Structure: • Structural change • Basic units – academic clubs at: • Charles University in Prague • Western Bohemian University in Pilsen • Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica.

We prepare for you: • European parliament • series of lectures and discussions on EP and elections to EP; being prepared for May 2004 in cooperation with Young Social Democrats • Senate elections 2004 • discussion being prepared for fall 2004 in cooperation with Institute of Karel Havlíček Borovský
