Discussion Director • #1Why was the roof there favorite place? • Answer: It was the second highest building in the city, or it could of been that they just liked to be close to the sun and feel the breeze. • #2 Why do you think Weasel started to start saying “I don’t know?” • Answer: Maybe, because he started to not believe in him, or he is just depress.

  3. Connector • In the story, Mongoose and Weasel shoplifted. I`ve seen someone shoplift before. A cop ran after him. I also walked out of a store forgetting to pay for something. The security sensors weren`t working or I was too small. I ran back inside to pay for the thing.

  5. Summarizer • Weasel was shoplifting with his friend, And they never got caught them and they called his mom. His mom never found out. They stole at the Minnie-Mart, and they stole lots of candy.

  7. Genre • Hint: Fiction=Not real. • Non Fiction=Real. • The genre is fiction, because it talks about kids doing crazy stuff and the book said it is fiction.

  8. Plot • Its about two boys who shoplift at the Minnie-mart • And steel lots of candy. They entered a new world they switched there names so they don’t get caught .They buy spray paint, and they paint the walls.

  9. Character Devolvement • Mongoose: He is a boy that is a trouble maker. He has a brother just like him. Mongoose steals a lot. He is serious about things. He is funny. • Weasel: He is Mongooses brother. He is also is a trouble maker. Weasel is just like Mongoose. Weasel is funny, creative, and smart.

  10. Point of View The Author is Jerry Spinelli The book is a second point of view. We know that because the story was told by not Mongoose or Weasels view, but someone else's.

  11. Setting It takes place outside, at the library, at houses, and at school. It affects the characters by, making one smarter, sleeping, and wherever they go the library card comes back.
