Duurzame Ontwikkeling en Globalisering • ‘Hungry Planet, What the world eats’ • Doel • Op het eind van dit college kun je over 8 landen, verspreid over de wereld en continenten een stukje vertellen ten aanzien van milieu en duurzame ontwikkeling en de relatie hiermee met ons dagelijks eten. Voor de opdracht wordt gebruik gemaakt van de begrippen: welvaart, schaarste, CO2 uitstoot, BNP, PPP en HPI. • Onderdelen envelop: • Een antwoordblad • 8 foto’s van gezinnen • 8 landinformatiebladen • 8 gezinsbeschrijvingen • Opdracht: • Zoek uit welke gezinsbeschrijving bij welke foto hoort en welk land hoort. • Maak stapeltjes. Schrijf de bijbehorende letter en cijfer op het antwoordvel. • Vul het antwoordblad in aan de hand van de landeninformatiebladen voor zover mogelijk. • Vragen • Aan de hand van het antwoordblad vragen we je de volgende vragen te beantwoorden. • Wat vind je de meest opmerkelijke uitkomsten? • Kan je op basis van de gegevens een uitspraak doen over de correlatie tussen CO2-uitstoot en de dagelijkse calorie inname? (beargumenteer) • HPI • Welk van de landen heeft een gunstige HPI. • Kan je deze gunstige HPI verklaren uit andere gegevens van het antwoordblad? • Klimaatverandering (opwarming v/d aarde) • Welk land draagt het meest bij aan de klimaatveranderingen en waarom? • Welk land draagt het minst bij aan de klimaatveranderingen? • Dienen rijkere landen een grotere bijdrage te leveren aan CO2-reductie dan armere landen? Beargumenteer • Veel Plezier!
