Chemical Structure of Estradiol and Currently Available Selected SERMs This slide illustrates the chemical structure of estradiol compared with other compounds that have the profile of a SERM, including raloxifene (EVISTA), which is a benzothiophene compound. Note that the structure of raloxifene is different from that of commercially-available triphenylethylene SERMs, which include tamoxifen (Nolvadex) and toremifene.
