  2. Fall Sports • Cross Country • Football: Record 17 participants from East Windsor in Stafford Co-op. • Soccer: Hosted the 1st under the lights Boys and Girls Soccer game in conjunction with the Booster Club and Homecoming Committee

  3. Varsity Soccer • Hired two new coaches for both Varsity Boys and Girls Teams; Boys: James Fonte Girls: Mark Jordan • Turnover has been an issue for Soccer • Girls Team has had 4 new coaches in 5 years Boys Team has had 4 new coaches in 6 years

  4. Goal is to establish a collaborative effort with the youth soccer program to encourage participation • Varsity Girls Team helped with the Parks & Rec Tiny Tots Soccer Program • Varsity Boys will be running Summer Soccer Camp for the Youth of East Windsor

  5. Middle School Sports • Boys Soccer: Hired new coach TJ Clynch • Established an “A” and a “B” Team to allow for maximum participation • Girls Soccer: Hired new coach Melissa Green • Received many compliments on Sportsmanship and Effort from other Schools

  6. Winter Sports • Cheerleading: New coach Erica Lucas, former EWHS cheerleader. Looking to improve participation. • Indoor Track: Participation at all time high with 30 plus athletes. • Art Podbielski earned All Conference

  7. Winter Sports Highlights • Wrestling: 2 All State Wrestlers • Senior Fred Parlos and Junior Jake Miller • Shawn Larkin (honorable mention) lost in the State Finals • Girls Basketball: • 2nd Best Overall Record of 15-5 in school history. • Best League Winning Percentage of 76.3 • Vicky Audet: Outstanding Student EWHS and Academic All State Team • Alicia Demers: All Conference & All State Team

Two 1,000 Point Scorers Honored: • Dan Christensen and Dan Gonzalez • New School Record for Scoring Set: • Dan Gonzalez: 1504 points • Dan Christensen Honored for All Conference Selection • Dan Gonzalez Honored for All Conference and All State Selections • Dinner Held on May 4th in Teams Honor at La Notte with over 130 in attendance

  10. Middle School Sports • Cheerleading: Large turnout of participants, assisted with the Parks & Rec. cheer clinic • Girls Basketball: Competitive Season • Losing seven 8th graders • Need to encourage participation to rebuild program • Boys Basketball: • Winning Season with a great comeback victory on Colors Day. • Working in conjunction with EW Youth Basketball to encourage participation

  11. Spring Sports • Track: Remain competitive after winning conference in 2006 • Baseball: Hired new Varsity Coach Robert Plourd • Softball: On track to make State Tournament • Golf: New sport introduced in 2006 • Tennis: 1 co-op athlete with Enfield

  12. Middle School Sports • New batting cages installed for Baseball and Softball • Baseball and Softball Teams off to a good start, both teams have captured a victory this season.

  13. Class of 2007 Scholar Athlete Karissa Parker • 3.62 GPA • 4 Varsity Letters Soccer • 3 Varsity Letters Indoor Track • 4 Varsity Letters Softball

  14. Participation East Windsor High School • 84 Fall Athletes • 84 Winter Athletes • 94 Spring Athletes • 177 Athletes participated in 2006-2007 East Windsor Middle School • 54 Fall Athletes • 56 Winter Athletes • 30 Athletes • 98 Athletes participated in 2006-2007
