Join us for an engaging summer with the Scottish Society of Tidewater! On June 24th, bring a side dish for our joint SST/St. A's picnic at the Church of the Ascension from 2:00-6:00 PM. Enjoy Hurling and Gaelic Football on June 29th in Virginia Beach. Don't miss our BBQ at Lone Star Lakes Park on June 30th. The Grandfather Mountain Highland Games from July 12-15 are a must-visit! Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual William Wallace Day on August 23rd at Blackfinn's in Norfolk. Your membership card earns you discounts!

  3. Hurling/Gaelic Football • Exhibition in Virginia Beach • Friday, June 29th • More information coming on this from Padraic!

  4. Pigs & Kilts • Police Emerald Society Summer BBQ • Lone Star Lakes Park in Suffolk, VA • Saturday, June 30th 2:00pm-? • $10.00 per person (free to Emerald Society new members!)

  5. Grandfather Mountain Highland Games July 12-15 2007, in Linville NC This is the premiere highland games in the USA! The SST will sponsor a table/society tent there this year, provided our members will help to organize it!

  6. 2nd Annual William Wallace Day • Thursday, August 23, 2007 • Blackfinn’s in Waterside, Norfolk • This will take the place of the August SST Meeting

  7. Blackfinn’s in Norfolk • On the first floor in Waterside - beautiful view - great patio … • We have negotiated a deal with them, where they will give 10% off your total food bill, if you show your SST membership card! • $3.00 imported draft on Friday evenings
