  3. Phase I Status$2,370,000 Certified on October 1, 2007 Cyber Academy: • Staffing • IDEAL-NM Executive Director – Interviews in progress • IDEAL-NM Academy Principal – Hired (Dr. Tim Snyder) • IDEAL-NM Administrative Assistant – Hired (Sharron Purcell)

Phase I Status$2,370,000 Certified on October 1, 2007 Cyber Academy Continued: • Course Offerings • Aventa Course Offerings – Enrolling Students for Spring Semester • NM History on APS Platform – Ready for Spring Semester • Semester I, Algebra I – Ready for Spring Semester • Teacher Training • 26 Teachers trained to teach online courses • Ongoing training planned

Phase I Status$2,370,000 Certified on October 1, 2007 IDEAL-NM Service Center • IDEAL-NM eServices Director – Selection made • Helpdesk • Helpdesk Staff not hired yet • Helpdesk Software RFP complete, ready for procurement • Office Space • Facility Established in Rio Rancho (10 offices) • Staff Computer Equipment Procured • Office Furniture Secured

Phase I Status$2,370,000 Certified on October 1, 2007 Learning Management System (LMS) Data Center Preparation • Pre-Implementation Strategy – Started • Data Center Preparation – Waiting on LMS selection and State determination to implement a Vendor-Hosted or Agency-Hosted model. • Data Center Equipment Procurement – Waiting on LMS selection.

Phase II Planning$5,200,000 Certification Request, December 19, 2007 Procure LMS • RFP Process is complete and a recommendation has been made to the State. • Awaiting confirmation from State Purchasing to begin contract negotiations • Determine most advantageous solution for the state in a Vendor-Hosted or Agency-Hosted solution • Higher Education Department will Establish Contract with LMS Vendor

Phase II Planning$5,200,000 Certification Request, December 19, 2007 Procure Web Conferencing System • Finalize RFP after LMS Solution has been determined • Begin State Procurement Process to select a Web Conferencing Solution • Higher Education Department will Establish Contract with Web Conferencing System Vendor
