  4. Six new target lakes Lake Hornum:Pressurized by agriculture. Action plan: involves a voluntary extensivation of near-lake agricultural fields. Lake Voerbjerg Lergrav:Pressurized by agriculture. Action plan: effect assessment (during 2005) of the diversion of the inlet stream in 1998-99. Lake Nols:Pressurized by agricultureand waste water. Action plan: reducing external loadings in co-operation with the local municipality. Locals are very supportive. Lake Farsø:Pressurized by waste water. Action plan: surveillance monitoring during 2005 in preparation for an eventual cut off. Lake Præstesø:Poor water quality, no known external pressures. Action plan: investigation of fish community revealed a total dominance of planktivorous. If suitable, fish removal is wanted. Lake Øje:Overgrowing of conifers and possible acidification are the pressures. Action plan: tree cutting. Locals are very supportive.

  5. ”Old” target lakes Lake Hannerup Pressurized by agriculture. Action plan: Fish removal in 2006. Current phase: one landowner against Lake Guldager Pressurized by agriculture. Action plan: diversion of field drains, creation of extensive borders, fish removal. Current phase: fund raising (~13.000€) Lake Poulstrup Biomanipulated forest lake. Action plan & current phase: surveillance monitoring during 2005 to assess the effect.
