  2. Urinary System Review • Kidney Anatomy—uses a cadaver, be prepared for some graphic images. Only need to watch the first 3 minutes or so. • Nephron Physiology

  3. Urinary/Respiratory Test Review Total of 61 points 15 anatomy stations 41 points on the Physiology portion 10 pts for your case study—make sure it’s your own work in your own words!

  4. 10 Multiple Choice Questions • Three stages of urine formation • Tidal Volume, Expiratory Reserve, Residual Volume, Inspiratory Reserve • Anatomical features of structures (What allows you to speak? Why don’t we choke on food?) • Characteristics of urine

  5. Disorders • Matching…it’s a mix of urinary and respiratory disorders.

  6. Short Answers • Internal vs. External Respiration—what is the difference? What happens in each phase? • What did you learn from Deirdre’s presentation?—review your notes! It must be unique to her!

  7. Short Answer • Describe the physiology of the nephron…how does it work?

  8. Short Answer—CS • Make sure you can answer any of the practice case study questions…thoroughly enough and in your own words!
