CINECA: Pioneering IT Services and Supercomputing for Italian Higher Education

CINECA, established in 1969, is a non-profit consortium dedicated to enhancing higher education and research in Italy. Comprising 43 members, including 40 universities and 2 research institutes, CINECA collaborates with the Italian Ministry of University and Research. With a turnover of approximately 60 million euros and a team of around 400 employees, CINECA offers cutting-edge supercomputing services to support scientific research and robust IT services tailored for Italian universities and ministries. Led by General Director Marco Lanzarini, CINECA continues to advance education in Italy.
