  4. All the machine members are subjected to different types of forces. Force analysis helps the designer in selecting the correct size and shape to withstand the forces. Force transmitted on the machine or by the machine may be static forces and dynamic forces. Two types of force analysis : oStatic force analysis oDynamic force analysis
