  3. and fear when I came here.

  4. Now there is no more catching

  5. one’s own eye in the mirror,

  6. there are no bad books, no plastic,

  7. no insurance premiums, and of course,

  8. no illness. Contrition

  9. does not exist, nor gnashing

  10. of teeth. No one howls as the first

  11. clod of earth hits the casket.

  12. The poor we no longer have with us.

  13. Our calm hearts strike only the hour,

  14. and God, as promised, proves

  15. to be mercy clothed in light.
