Mass Rescue Operations • A mass rescue operation depends on effective and efficient coordination… • Partnership + Planning + Practice = Preparedness • Partnership:Identify your partners & formalize your relationship (MRO plans, mutual assistance pacts, etc). In a disaster, a unified command is important; • Planning:Identify risks and MRO scenarios and plan accordingly; • Practice:Train all personnel and all partners (preferably utilizing a Unified Command) and practice, practice, practice…and Exercise Plans.
