This scope of work involves preparing the program book for publication, making production decisions, and coordinating with various departments for necessary content and materials. Ensure final PDF submission and interface with printers. CD and other materials to be prepared with artwork specifications and approvals required.

Scope of Work 1. Prepare the Program Book. • Prepare for publication - layout, pagination, etc. • Interface with the printer. • Make decisions on production details (i.e. layout, types of paper used, etc.) • Final PDF to be submitted to printer 2 weeks before PGCE (April 9th)
Items needed from other departments: - From Technical Committee - Schedule, finalized, including names of presenters, session chairmen, etc., and titles of all papers/posters. ** due March 19th - From Promotions and Graphics - Front page design - A4, crop marks, CMYK PDF ** due April 2nd - Incidental artwork if necessary, as needed.
Items needed from other departments: - From Exhibition - Finalized booth layout - Floor plan - Contact information and logos for all vendors - Ads from all vendors (together with Sponsorships) - Ad printing sequence (i.e. order of importance) ** due March 26th, but send ads as soon as possible - From Sponsorships - List of all sponsors and corresponding sponsored items - Ads from all vendors (see Exhibition, above) ** due March 26th
Scope of Work 2. Prepare program CD • Interface with CD printer. • CD to be authored at EAGE - should have all abstracts and a working front page menu (brought up using Autorun). Supplied as a .ISO file. • Promotions to supply cover artwork (.AI, .JPG or .PSD file, 300 d.p.i., borderless)
Scope of Work 3. Prepare other materials • For the most part supplied by Promotions and Graphics, but will interface with printer, and also get approval. Final approval by GSM's Editor (Dr. Ng Tham Fatt)
