  2. UNIVERSALLY - Our capital is Prague • second largest city is Brno • highest mountain is Snežka (1602) • the longest river is Vltava • our president´s name is Václav Klaus - our country is divided into Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia - we belong to the European Union

  3. HISTORY - our first president was Tomas Garrigue Masaryk - in 1918 he became the first president of Czechoslovakia • Now there is an independent country of the Czech Republic • the first president was Václav Havel (1993)

  4. VÁCLAV KLAUS - he is our current president - is the second President of the Czech Republic - president of the Czech Republic since 2003 and in 2008 defended his mandate for a second term and is president up today

  5. CLIMATE we have 4 seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter

  6. POPULATION Czech Republic, the population of 10,505,445 (as of 1 January 2012). [1] Of the 44 European countries, the Czech Republic is the 14th place. In the world belongs 78th place from 194 countries to the Czech Republic.
