  1. January 2012 Updates: Our Last Month in the House in Mortlake

  2. Breakfast together with good company

  3. Morning tea together Left: both girls enjoy “ParparNechmad”

  4. Tucking into dinner

  5. More dinner dramas As you can see, we can’t really eat at a table as the house is becoming more and more cluttered by boxes.

  6. Hahgoot wanted only bland food and lots of pasta for dinner, but enjoyed colourful fruit

  7. We really were visited by Santa Claus! Our friend Claudine moved house (again) and filled our porch with toys, clothes, a kids’ sofa and carpets, and these two great doll prams! Alma was especially thrilled!

  8. Hahgoot was most impressed by this giant castle

  9. The toilet really makes flushing sounds and movements!

  10. Alma the sticker expert giving Dorothea precise instructions

  11. The girls tried to go out on a trip with the new dolls’ prams Alma enjoyed singing into this echoing microphone (from Claudine)

  12. Hahgoot lost interest after less than 5 minutes and Alma was left to care for both dolls. Then Hahgoot tripped over, fell and went into a wild meltdown on the sidewalk (by the amount of screaming you could think she lost a limb!)

  13. When I managed to get back with two prams, two dolls, one toddler and one screaming child, I put an ice pack on the tiny scratch, band aides on both girls (Alma insisted to have one too) and put the Muppets show on TV. Here you can see Hahgoot is laughing again, thanks to “Manahmanam” ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N_tupPBtWQ&feature=related).

  14. Left: silly echoes in a bucket Right: working on a collective artwork

  15. Left: dancing with the Mummenschanz on the Muppets Show Right: watching Smurfs and YouTube together

  16. The ladies are off on a trip with the prams

  17. “legs up the wall” in unison

  18. Left: Alma likes to see music videos for kids on YouTube before she goes to bed Right: I cleaned and refilled the bean bag that Chat-chat passed away in.

  19. Barak celebrated his 42nd birthday. This year I decided that his birthday treat will be a day alone at the shopping centre. He actually enjoyed it very much: browsed in bookshops, drank coffee slowly while writing poetry and philosophical notes, and... read books. Hahgoot made him a birthday card.

  20. In our next presentation: A trip to the aquarium with aunt Debbie, packing is completed, and we move house – all in a matter of few days!
