  3. Residual waste contract review • Restrict collection times to 2 hour windows in CBD • Increased litter bin emptying • Introduce 120 litre wheelie bins for the majority • No private 240 litre wheelie bins • 120 litre wheelie bins for residents in townships

  4. Results of 2008/09 Annual Plan Consultation • 243 submissions received mostly opposed to the new service • 120 litre wheelie bins service was against the strategy objective of ‘polluter pays’ • No incentive for active recyclers

  5. Project plan for Organic and Residual Waste to include: • Working party • Zero Waste Roadshow • Zero Waste Brochure
