This project involves the development of a comprehensive data warehouse by extracting daily web feeds from Yahoo Finance. The database comprises two SQL Server tables containing detailed company information and stock rates spanning over 10 years. Users can select companies through an interactive Windows form, retrieving essential data like addresses, phone numbers, and stock recommendations powered by a decision engine. Additionally, a graph displays each company's stock performance over the last 12 months, offering valuable insights for investors. Tools used include Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008.

INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT • Developed a Data Warehouse by extracting daily web feeds from the finance site www.finance.yahoo.com. • The Database has 2 tables created in SQL Server. • Table with Company Information, Rate of each stock for 10 years. These are the 2 tables used • It is then populated with the values of each stock for over 10 years.

  3. introduction to the project • From the windows form created, any company can be selected depending on User’s choice. User can get Company Information like Address, City , State, Phone number • User can get recommendation regarding the purchase of stocks depending upon the result of the decision engine. • A graph is also provided about each individual company showing its flow for the last 12 months.
