On August 27, students engaged in readings and discussions across all periods. In the 1st period, students discussed last night's reading, synonyms, and assigned reading Chapters 19-22, while addressing missing assignments. For the 2nd period, they collected questions from Chapter 3 and began writing extended responses on character interactions. Subsequent periods continued focusing on literature discussions and vocabulary. Fire and lockdown drills were conducted throughout the day. Students are reminded that novels are due in two weeks.
