Exploring Factions and Literature: Divergent and Watson's Go To Birmingham

On August 21, students will engage with exciting literature and faction placements across the periods. In the 1st, 3rd, and 4th periods, students will present faction posters for *Divergent* Chapters 1-4, complete with supporting quotes. They are also assigned to read Chapters 5-8 for Wednesday. The 2nd period will focus on becoming active readers using *Watson’s Go to Birmingham-1963* and related predictions. The 5th period will include a scavenger hunt and setting up Schoology accounts for future novel assignments.
