SCI-BUS: User Support for Scientific Gateway Development

SCI-BUS project aims to create a general-purpose portal technology, application-specific portal building technology, and adaptative methodology. It will provide portal services for NGIs and various research communities, ensuring easy access to distributed infrastructures (grid, cloud, cluster). Through the development of a Liferay portlet repository, users will receive support for portal and application development. The project also focuses on developing a sustainable business model for commercial exploitation. Supported by FP7 Capacities Programme under contract RI-283481.

A SCI-BUS projekt fő céljai • Egy általános célú portál technológia létrehozása • Alkalmazás-specifikus portál épitési technológia és egy adaptációs módszertan kidolgozása • Egy portál szolgáltatás létrehozása mind az NGI-k, mind a különböző tud. közösségek számára • Egyszerű hozzáférést biztositani a legfontosabb elosztott infrastruktúra tipusokhoz (grid, felhő, fürt) • Egy Liferay portlet tárház létrehozása • Portál és alkalmazás fejlesztési támogatás nyújtása a felhasználóknak • Üzleti modell kifejlesztése, ami garantálja az eredmények fenntarthatóságát és kereskedelmi kiaknázását
