Get involved ~ Get active ~ Get creative We have entertained the Greater Hamilton Area with quality musical theatre for over 50 years, and now it’s time to get the next generation involved!! Come and get creative and have fun while learning all the skills needed to be a triple threat. Improve confidence, teamwork and spontaneity in a creative, fun and supportive environment. Classes will be starting in September, and class sizes will be limited to only 12 students per class so register early to avoid disappointment! 2. Hamilton Theatre Inc. • Get involved ~ Get active ~ Get creative • Does your child like to perform? Then have we got the class for you! Creativity will definitely blossom in this environment, along with self-esteem and confidence. These classes, being offered to three age groups: • Junior (ages 7-9) Intermediate (ages 10-12) and Senior (ages 13-17), will allow students to develop their talents as singers, dancers, and actors by exploring these three important disciplines of musical theatre. We use drama games, improvisation, and scene work to give students a good base for working with scripted material. Vocally, students will learn basic vocal technique along with some music theory, and the group atmosphere provides an opportunity to work on harmonies and choral music as well. We will learn about how our bodies move by tackling basic choreography and movement for the stage. And what better to show off what we learn than to showcase a choreographed scene from a Broadway musical to be presented to friends and family at the end of each semester! • All classes will have a maximum enrollment of 12 students per class, with 2 teachers in each class. This ensures that all students get adequate attention and support. Minimum enrollment is 8 students per class. • For those wanting extra training, individual vocal classes are also being offered outside of regular class time. • Please speak to HTI about times and cost for one on one vocal instruction. • Fees: • All sessions are 11 weeks and cost $220. Each student must also purchase a once per year Membership of $25 per individual, or $50 per family. Membership covers yearly insurance costs while in our building. • Session 1 Weeks of Sept 23rd -27th to Dec 9th-13th • Session 2 Weeks of Jan 6th-10th to March 24th-28th • Session 3 Weeks of March 31st-April 4th to June 23rd-27th • Space is limited to twelve per class, so make sure you register early!! • Refund Policy • Withdrawal before first day of class: A full refund minus an Administration Fee of $20, plus the Annual Membership Fee will be given. • Withdrawal before the second class: A full refund minus the fee of one class and the Administration Fee of $20, plus the Annual Membership Fee will be given. • No refunds will be issued after the second class of the session. • Class Cancellation Policy • HTI reserves the right to cancel any group class due to insufficient enrolment.
