You will develop an appreciation for what you have and for the people around you.3. You will learn new skills and/or strengthen ones you already have.

You will free your mind from previous things bugging you, because your focused on helping.6. After volunteering, things that used to upset you will not be as bothersome, because you've seen worse and understand that there is light at the end of every tunnel.
