  2. tasks • The main duty is planning & following up health projects • Requesting projects from (DOH) at the end of every year • Receiving projects - Organizing & minister approval • Sending the projects to ministry of planning • Approval of the budget (MOP) • Instruct To (DOH)s to start implementation

  3. Methodology 1- Project documentary preparation (MOH) * Designing and bill of quantities * RFP (request for proposal) 2-Announcement & tendering (Government) 3-opening and analyzing the tenders (GOV.+MOH) 4-Awarding (GOV.+MOH) 5-Contract (MOH) 6-Implementation (contractor + MOH) 7-Following up (MOH+COM) 8-Acomplishment and initial reception (MOH) 9-Maintenance (12 months) (contractor) 10-Final reception (MOH)

  4. Projects under construction *(18) hospitals with total (2600) beds and with total cost of (696) billion ID *(12) health center with total cost of (7.92) billion ID *(14) other health facilities with total cost of (55.8) billion ID (MOH building , Labs, Doctors residence) etc *Procurement of medical equipment (33) billion ID *Consultant (consultancy + designing) (4.8) billion ID *After finishing the mentioned projects the total bed numbers will be (9772)bed , before it were(7172)+ 850 bed for private hospitals

Dependable conditions & currency * Conditions of contract for civil works (part one, part two) • Conditions of contract for electrical , mechanical & chemical works (part one, part two) • Special conditions prepared by the ministries * The dependable currency (Iraqi dinar) * Health projects budgets : 2013 373.500.000.000 ID 2012 268.126.000.000 ID 2011 217.065.000.000 ID 2010 77.487.000.000 ID

  6. Future projects * (15) hospitals with several beds(1050) & specialties in different district (240) billion ID • (116) health care centers in different districts (232) billion ID • (23) others (50) billion ID

  7. The Italian specialist companies in the construction of health facilities can participate in implementing of health facilities like other national and international companies in Kurdistan region in condition that they have to registrate in the region
