  2. Anonymous Appraisal Exercise • Appraisal • “act of measuring value”. • “gauging the importance of an entity” • Letting a person, place, thing etc. pass through a biased/unbiased criteria. • Checking a particular thing’s “worth”.

Anonymous Appraisal Exercise • Pick a friend from your friends list in any social networking site that you belong to not belonging to this group. • Collect the persons past 30 tweets/status updates that isn’t about Yolanda and Napoles. (We want to screen it out). • Write an article that bluntly “judges” said person based solely on the collected tweets/status updates. (Try to write like it’s not you)

Anonymous Appraisal Exercise • Allow the chosen person to read your article • Choice 1 -> tell the person you personally wrote it and it was for an exercise in our class. • Choice 2 -> tell your friend “I” was the one who wrote it and you were just tasked to show it to them • Observe how they react to the article you wrote – and write points about your observation. You may ask your chosen person for responses.

Anonymous Appraisal Exercise • Short sized bond paper • Font size 10 – 12 • No pictures • “*picture with girlfriend* I love you bibigurlforeverz and everz.,,jejejeje., • However; If possible include a picture of the observed individual. • In case the observed individual doesn’t want to issue an opinion regarding the observation, just put “observations received with tact”.
