  7. Summer 2010 - July • The SIMS InTouch Solution • Allows for engagement with parents teachers and pupils • Can be immediate as part of current workflows • Everything in one place • Managed entirely by the school • Safe, secure and fully audited communication between parents, teachers and staff

Summer 2010 - July • Assessment Manager • Colour on Reports • Optional • There will be two types of colour; • Teacher colour that is local to the Marksheet and does not print • Formula colour that is held on the result, shows on all Marksheets for that result and on Individual Reports • Colour will only print in Table Cells • If there is more than one result tag in a cell, no colour will print.

  9. Summer 2010 - July • FMS 6.132 • Bank Statements • Increasing number of cases caused by banks re-issuing a previous bank statement - merging of banks • A bank statement will be identified by a combination of bank statement number and date.

Summer 2010 - July • Statutory Returns • Annual School Workforce Census 2010 • Reference Date = 04/11/2010 • Previous Academic Year – For SWC purposes this is 01/09/2009 to 31/08/2010Note: The DfE is aware that some schools start their academic year in August but for statistical purposes it is important to collect data from the start of September to the end of August.

Summer 2010 - July • Annual School Workforce Census 2010 • Main changes compared to previous return • All SWC information is now collected in the Annual Return i.e. Absence, Contract and Service Agreement information. • Leavers – Contract and Service Agreement information is based upon:- • Contract and Service Agreement that were current on the Date of Leaving (DOL). • The last Contract(s) prior to the DOL. • Employment Start Date (DOA) and DOL are used where workforce member is included but Contract and Service Agreement information is not included. • If Pay Scale, Regional Pay Spine and Spine Point are included Total Pay is not included.
