Quick Write • Quick Writes will not be grade for points but for participation and honesty. • You are allowed to use your brain, any notes, labs or worksheets we have done in class. • You may notuse your textbook or interactive reader. • You will have 5 minutes to complete as many questions as possible. • With a colored pencil you will grade your own.

In Science, you will be required to take notes using the Cornell Note-Taking System. The systemrequiresaspecific formatwhich will enable you to better understand, review content delivered in class and help you study for quizzes & tests.

  8. Abbreviation and Symbols It is almost impossible to write fast enough to get ALL the information down accurately so you are able to remember things later. However, there are some tricks you can use to make note taking easier!
