  2. Using a “Round” • In your tutor group and with your C.E. recap on your learning from Day 2

  3. Ready for your session? • In your tutor groups, discuss your session plan with your buddy • Identify any areas you would like clarification on and discuss as necessary with your CE and the group

  4. Practical Delivery • Tackle competence delivery • Delivery of one of your prepared sessions on ‘Play from........ • C.E. to choose each individual’s task • Supported by ‘Buddy’ where possible

  5. Reflections • Reflections /group ‘round’ on learning from this morning LUNCH – until 1.15pm

C.E to allocate tasks on scrum In Groups of five, deliver your 5 minute session on the Scrum based on 1 of the following allocated focuses. • 1, 2 and 4 also including the put in and strike • 1, 6 and 4 including square hips and the left shoulder • 2, 3 and 5 focusing on the tight head • 3, 5 and 7 focusing on tight head and symmetry • Engagement sequence 2v1 and 2v2 • Include No 8 where and when appropriate.

Delivery of allocated tasks on the lineout Deliver your 5 minute session on Lineout • Throw in • Movement to lose an opponent including communication to hooker • Jump, catch and delivery to Scrum half (while landed) • Binding of support after landing • Two handed delivery off the top of the lineout • Peel • Lifting technique (all)

  14. While you wait for your 1:1 • Revisit your ‘mixing desk’(graphic equaliser) • Have a look at, and tick any aspects you feel confident about on the Coach development template (Page 58). This may help you identify some areas for development. • Make some notes on your personal action plan (Page 59) in preparation for your 1 to 1 with your Coach Educator.
