  3. Starter • Re-write the following sentence, correcting the spelling • The ghost, witch had bin quite all knight, suddenly through a cup at the wall. James’ mum looked at him in anger, and he new that he were gonna get in trouble.

  4. Starter • Here’s how it should look: • The ghost, which had been quiet all night, suddenly threw a cup at the wall. James’ mum looked at him in anger, and he knew that he wasgoing to get in trouble.

  5. Let’s finish reading Chapter 3.

  6. Questions to Consider • What do you think about James’ decision to talk back to the ghost? Is this a good or bad idea? • How does the ghost react to James saying he won’t help? • What does this force James to do? Is this fair?
