  1. Pabx B Pabx A PSTN Party A dials Party B’s number. If the connection is established successfully, after Party B or Party A goes On-Hook, the Pabx A will send to the PC a string of character called CDR or Call Detail Record, which containing all needed information of the call for calculating call charge. On the next slides, we will introduce some basic CDR formats and the way to setup Pbx Billing System to receive and parse that CDR correctly.   2. Go to Application Tools>>Application Settings to get below dialog. Your dialog may look difference from the sample just because you are using newer version. The principle to configure emains the same. The original CDR contains many unnecessary field. Pabx Billing System has filter which can replace such character before process the CDR We enter the filter the following character: -, *,<,>,.. “Date Time Ext. CO Dial number Duration Code” is page title of Panasonic, we can delete such string by enter that string to the filter as well. The CDR after filtering looked like below.
