Getting Organized for Travel

The intention of the powerpoint was to provide details on "getting organized for travel". It was meant to act as a checklist for employees of a firm I presented it to so they would have a step by step for travel. It is wordier than a normal powerpoint presentation.

  11. PACKING Remember to pack everyone a change of clothes and tooth brush in your carry on incase your luggage gets lost Do not take up valuable suitcase space with items like hair dryers and irons Use travel size toiletries & cosmetics to save space and weight Pack only versatile clothes, only pack clothes that fit in the “I will definitely wear it”. Try to pack neutral colours Not sure what adapter you will need visit www.korjo.com Look at what you have laid out to pack and then half it. “Remember, no one ever came back from a vacation saying: I wish my bag had been heavier” Pat Best Travel Consultant Service Guaranteed Travel “I ain’t takin’ nothin’ that’ll slow down my travelin’….Johnny Cash

  12. PACKING Tips for wrinkle free clothes & maximizing space • Layer heaviest items at the bottom of the bag and the more delicate smaller items on top. • Use the straps in the suitcase to stop clothes from sliding around. • Using smaller bags within the suitcase will prevent • clothes from wrinkling • Product lines like Magellan Stow Away Mesh Cubes

  13. PACKING Rolling clothes not only creates more space it creates less lines for wrinkles to form Don’t double up clothes in plastic bags it will defeat the purpose When packing bag your goal is to create a jig saw puzzle where there is no empty space and items won’t shift UNPACK AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE!

  14. PACKING FLYING: • Consult airline to verify checked baggage limit, as well as acceptable amounts for carryon. • Flying with children? Let kids decide what to bring but limit space; colouring, non-messy crafts, dvd player (charger)ect. extra snacks • Wear your heaviest items and coats on the plane to avoid packing them
