We aim to drive change by building intrinsic motivation among students through clear, consistent expectations across our teaching team. By aligning our terminology and goals, we strive to instill pride in student work, encourage neatness, and promote a positive attitude towards school and learning. We also emphasize the importance of respect for others during transitions and lunchtime. Through setting • clear expectations • (in which all of the teachers in the grade use same • terminology and have the same expectations)
over the course of our group’s work we have discussed several different areas where we would like to see change: academically: • pride in student work • writing your full name • neatness • care about content • attitude towards school and learning • desire to Learn behaviorally: walking in the hall respect for others during oneg, lunch
