    2. Community Development staff first discussed a comprehensive streetscape plan update in 2005. Council approved streetscape enhancement plan proposal on May 10, 2005. Council approved the hiring of ZD Studios to develop the community brand, which included the new logo, which was adopted on June 5, 2007. On September 26, 2007, the Council approved the purchase and installation of our new wayfinding sign system. Background

    3. Now Its Time for Our Comprehensive Downtown Streetscaping Plan.

    4. Benefits of Streetscaping Streetscape can have a significant effect on how people perceive and interact with their community. If streetscapes are safe and inviting to pedestrians, people are more likely to walk which can help reduce automobile traffic, improve public health, stimulate local economic activity, and attract residents and visitors to a community.
