  3. City Profile City Profile Geographic Location Weihai is located in the eastern tip of Shandong peninsula, facing Korea and Japan across the sea. It’s the nearest city to South Korea in China, with the shortest distance over the sea only 93 nautical miles. Weihai covers a land area of 5, 797 square kilometers with a coastline of 985.9 kilometers. The permanent population is 2,816,100.

Current profile of the project Brief Introduction Modern leisure sightseeing agriculture project is located in the northwest of the Weihai International Port Economic & Technological Development Zone with total area of 106 square meters. It is a green and ecological sightseeing area integrating scientific research, planting, aquaculture and leisure tourism. It is an important part of International Port Economic & Technological Development Zone. It is the catchment area of Mishan reservoir. These years Weihai International Port Economic & Technological Development Zone attract investors to construct the modern agricultural tourism project with the focus of developing the projects of green and organic picking tourism etc.

Current profile of the project Natural Conditions • Climate Conditions: • The sightseeing area is located in the temperate zone, enjoying four distinct seasons and pleasant climate with the annual average barometric pressure of 1010.2mb and average temperature of 11.2°C, average sunshine duration of 2540.7 hours, relatively average humidity of 71.5% and average rainfall of 812.1mm. • Water Distribution: • It has abundant water resources in the industrial area with four main rivers crossing the area in length and width. The unique water system features on lake, marsh, wetland, ponds, river, etc.

  8. Current profile of the project The project is 20000 Mu with cultivated land 12792 Mu and the water area is 1400 Mu. There are 160 fishpond, one Breed Company, one agro-ecological park, one fishing park and 2 Farmhouse restaurants.

  10. Current profile of the project Soil Resource The soil resource in the project is brown soil and aquic brown soil. The topsoil of brown soil is thick with argillic horizon. It is higher water ratio and easy to cultivate. Drought fighting ability. Higher soil fertility in these areas, suitable for agricultural production activities. The utilization area is 10000 Mu. Aquic brown soil: Layers deep, open Hill Plateau, easy to cultivate, an important national grain predicting base in china. The utilization area is 2792 Mu.

Current profile of the project The project has formed Weihao winery ,Xinwang Agricultural Technology Demonstration Garden, Wenfeng arboretum, Shenshan Grape picking Garden, Yingjuyuan sightseeing and picking tourism park, Donglaifu Eco-Aquaculture Park, Weiying Rose Garden,Shanshangtang, Eco-Aquaculture Park and Daming Grape picking Garden.
