ISTOG December 2010 NUREG-1482 Survey and follow-up actions

RESULTS OF ISTOG SURVEY ON NUREG 1482 Current plans by the NRC involve issuance of a new NUREG (- 1946) which could effectively supersede existing NUREG - 1482. The ISTOG Steering Committee is interested in evaluating the impact of this change and what can be done to mitigate those impacts.

  1. RESULTS OF ISTOG SURVEY ON NUREG 1482 Current plans by the NRC involve issuance of a new NUREG (- 1946) which could effectively supersede existing NUREG - 1482. The ISTOG Steering Committee is interested in evaluating the impact of this change and what can be done to mitigate those impacts. We commissioned this survey to prioritize the critical elements of NUREG - 1482 which may be superseded. These are items that many of us have adopted as standard implementation policy for which there may no longer be an active reference. Question asked of participants: Rank items in NUREG-1482 Rev. 1 that "will be missed" by industry IST personnel.
